A 26-year-old serviceman suspected of murder and attempted murder of police officers in Vinnytsia region fired at least 4 shots at a law enforcement officer. The prosecution claims that it was he who carried out the main actions in this criminal offense, reports UNN correspondent .
Thus, the Vinnytsia City Court began considering a motion to impose a preventive measure on a 26-year-old serviceman.
The suspect, who is currently in the courtroom ... deliberately inflicted bodily injuries of varying severity on one of the police officers. Subsequently, continuing his criminal activity, directly realizing the nature of his actions, he brutally and for personal reasons made at least four shots from a service firearm at a police officer who stood up to defend his colleague
According to the prosecutor, the prosecution would like to draw attention to the fact that this criminal offense was committed directly by the suspect, who performed the main actions in this criminal offense in order to conceal another criminal offense under Part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (carrying, storage, purchase, transfer or sale of firearms (except for smooth-bore hunting weapons), ammunition, explosives or explosive devices without a permit provided by law (punishable by imprisonment for a term of three to seven years).

Context
According to the investigation, on April 20, at night, the suspects killed one police officer, injured another, and fled the scene while checking car . Law enforcement officers tracked them down and detained them in accordance with Article 208 of the CPC of Ukraine in the village of Lypetske, Podil district, Odesa region.
Subsequently, two servicemen were served with suspicion of murder and attempted murder of police officers in Vinnytsia region.
SBI is investigating the fact of desertion of military personnel involved in the shooting of law enforcement officers in Vinnytsia region on April 20.
