A gunman attacks the Colorado Supreme Court building, no casualties; the incident is not related to the Trump case.

The police reported that an armed man stormed into the US Supreme Court building in Colorado, opening fire and causing extensive damage before being arrested. This court recently declared Donald Trump ineligible to run for president of the state. This was reported by The Guardian, according to UNN.

The events took place in Denver on the Monday night: a man, whose identity has not been released, was involved in a a car accident, during which he pointed a rifle at another driver. He then fired through the the window of the Supreme Court building, threatening an unarmed security guard.

According to the police, the suspect went up to the 6th floor of the building, where he opened fire several times. About two hours later, he surrendered to law enforcement.

The building has significant and extensive damage. The investigation is still ongoing

police said, who did not report any injuries.

It is currently believed that the shooting is not believed to be related to previous threats against Colorado Supreme Court justices and the Trump case.
