Security measures have been tightened in Kherson region; men of military age must carry an ID card and present it upon request.
The Kherson Regional Defense Council has obliged men of military age to carry identification documents. They will have to be presented at the request of law enforcement officers and employees of the military-communal centers and joint ventures, said Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Commissariat, UNN reports .
Together with the military, the Kherson Regional Defense Council adopted a number of decisions to strengthen security in our region. We discussed the issue of arranging protective borders. Unfortunately, not everyone understands the importance of this work and either intentionally or unintentionally undermines the defense capability of the region
In addition, according to the order of the regional commandant, men of military age must have identification documents with them. And they must present them at the request of law enforcement officers and employees of the TCC and JV.
"We are also increasing the number of mobile concrete shelters to protect our people from attacks by Russian terrorists," Prokudin added.
In addition, the Defense Council banned events on public holidays and mass gatherings.
