Russian troops have carried out another massive attack on Ukraine's civilian energy infrastructure. Power companies have begun restoration work and introduced stricter outage schedules.
Russia has carried out its 12th massive attack on Ukraine's civilian energy infrastructure this year, and power companies have already begun work to restore it where possible, and stricter shutdown schedules are in place to balance the system, the Energy Ministry said on Friday, UNN reports.

"Today, Russia has carried out the 12th massive attack on civilian energy infrastructure this year. The damage and consequences are currently being assessed. Power engineers have already begun work on restoration where possible," the Energy Ministry said on social media.
In response to the Russian attack, the ministry said, the transmission system operator has increased power supply restrictions "to avoid overload and balance the system." It is advised to follow the schedule changes on the official websites of the distribution system operators in their regions.
