Russian troops have sharply increased the number of assault operations and air strikes in the Tauride direction, and enemy losses are also growing, said Brigadier General Oleksandr Tarnavsky, commander of the Tavria operational and strategic group of troops, on Wednesday, UNN reports.

According to the commander, the total enemy losses in the Tauride sector reached 491 people yesterday. 7 occupants surrendered.
21 units of enemy military equipment were destroyed. In particular, 3 tanks, 3 armored personnel carriers, 1 ATGM, 6 UAVs, 4 cars and 4 units of special equipment, including a self-propelled rocket launcher UR-77 "Meteorite". Three ammunition depots were also destroyed. Another 11 pieces of equipment were damaged, Tarnavsky said.
"Our defenders are steadfastly holding the defense in the Avdiivka sector. (...) At the same time, the offensive operation in the Melitopol sector continues," the commander noted.
At the same time, according to Tarnavsky, the enemy in the Tauride direction launched 1 missile and 29 air strikes, conducted 38 combat engagements and carried out 911 artillery attacks.
