During a speech in the Kremlin before graduates of Russian higher military educational institutions, Putin stated that NATO is allegedly "preparing for war with the Russian Federation."
It is indicative that he expressed these theses about the "aggressive policy of the West" and the "need for self-defense" before people who will soon become the backbone of the command staff of the Russian army. Thus, the dictator essentially outlined the state course and gave a direct instruction to the future military elite: their service will be subordinated to a potential war with the Alliance
The Center also added that recently, Russian propaganda has increasingly promoted the narrative that NATO is allegedly preparing an attack on Russia.
This systematic information campaign has been launched with the sole purpose of justifying in advance its own aggressive actions against European states and legitimizing further escalation in the eyes of Russian society
