Planned two terrorist attacks in Dnipropetrovsk region on the order of the enemy: RF agents detained

The Security Service of Ukraine prevented terrorist attacks in the Dnipropetrovsk region and detained two RF agents. They were planning to blow up a pickup truck of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the building of the TCC in the Nikopol district.
Counterintelligence of the Security Service prevented new terrorist attacks in Dnipropetrovsk region. As a result of complex measures, two enemy agents were detained, who received from their Russian curators "orders" for at least two explosions in the city. This is reported by the SBU press service, writes UNN.
According to the case materials, the first target of the perpetrators was a pickup truck of a mobile fire group of the Armed Forces. The terrorists had to plant an improvised explosive device (IED) under the car and detonate it using a phone call attached to the explosives. If the terrorist attack was carried out, the Russian special services planned a new task for their agents – to prepare an explosion near the central entrance to the TCC building in the Nikopol district

It is noted that the SBU counterintelligence service timely exposed and thwarted the enemy's intentions. Both agents were detained when they equipped the IED and conducted reconnaissance near the first "target" – a pickup truck of a mobile fire group.
At the place of detention, the defendants were found to have 3 kg of explosives with a detonator, which they hid in a plastic canister and "reinforced" with metal nuts.
According to the investigation, the agents of the Russian Federation turned out to be two local residents, one of whom is a recidivist who already has a criminal record for theft.
Both men came to the attention of the Russian special services while searching for "easy" money on Telegram channels.
Based on the collected evidence, the investigators of the Security Service informed the detainees about the suspicion under Part 1 of Art. 14, Part 2 of Art. 258 (preparation for a terrorist act by prior conspiracy by a group of persons).
The perpetrators are in custody. They face up to 12 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.
