The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine purchases most of the personal protective equipment for its military personnel from domestic manufacturers and brings the technical requirements for them in line with NATO standards.
Almost the entire volume of of personal protective equipment for Ukrainian soldiers purchased by the Ministry of Defense - is made in Ukraine. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Yuriy Dzhyhyr during a telethon, UNN reports with reference to the press service of the of the Ministry of Defense.

It is noted that the Defense Ministry has has developed technical requirements for helmets, uniforms and body armor in line with NATO standards.
