A man and his son were killed by Russian shelling in the village of Novoosynove, Kharkiv region, and about 15 other settlements in the region also came under enemy fire over the past day.
Yesterday, a man and his son were killed as a result of the shelling of the village of Novoosynove. Despite the forced evacuation of children from this settlement, the family returned several times. Oleg Sinegubov, the head of the Kharkiv RMA, told about this on the air of the telethon, UNN reports.
"Unfortunately, the situation is consistently difficult. We had about 15 settlements under fire. In the actual border areas, again, in the north, again in the Vovchansk direction, and, accordingly, in the Bohodukhiv district. In addition, in the Kupyansk direction, the enemy shelled the city of Kupyansk quite massively. Yesterday a man and his son were killed in Novoosynove. Children were forcibly evacuated from this locality, but this family, unfortunately, returned repeatedly and we have such tragic consequences," said Syniehubov.
According to him, the enemy conducted only one assault attack in the Kupyansk sector over the last day.
"The enemy is rotating its units there, replacing those that have lost their combat capability due to the effective work of our Defense Forces. At night, the enemy launched a massive attack on the village of Borova. This is the Izyum direction. Critical infrastructure and civilians were damaged there," added Syniehubov.
The head of the RMA also said that since 2022, hostile information injections aimed at destabilizing the situation in Ukraine have been constantly recorded. The number of fakes is increasing due to the Russians' failures on the battlefield. All the reports about the alleged evacuation from Kharkiv due to its "encirclement" are nothing more than hostile information and psychological operations.
