As of November 2023, 92% of Ukrainians consider the Holodomor of 1932-33 to be genocide of the Ukrainian people.

Over the past 13 years, the number of Ukrainians who consider the Holodomor to be genocide of the Ukrainian people has increased by 30%. This is evidenced by a survey conducted by the sociological group "Rating" on November 14-16, 2023, UNN reports .

Details 

In 2010, 60% of those polled by the Rating group answered affirmatively to the question "Do you agree that the Holodomor of 1932-33 was a genocide of the Ukrainian people?" And according to the results of the latest poll of the Rating Group, in 2023, 92% agree with the above statement. Only 4% deny this, 4% hesitated to answer

It is noted that over the past ten years, there has been a one and a half times increase in the number of respondents who agree with the thesis that the Holodomor of 1932-33 is a genocide of the Ukrainian people.

The Holodomor of 1932-33 is recognized as genocide by the vast majority of residents of both the western, central and southeastern regions of the country. No significant deviations in age distributions in this regard were recorded.
