Footballer Oleksandr Zinchenko has ended his cooperation with the esports team Passion UA, which he founded in 2023. The club continues to exist and moves forward without him.

Midfielder of the Ukrainian national team and Amsterdam's "Ajax" Oleksandr Zinchenko announced his departure from the esports team Passion UA, which he himself founded in 2023. At the same time, the team stated that the collective does not cease to exist and continues its journey. This is reported in the team's statement on Instagram, as reported by UNN.
Details
Oleksandr Zinchenko has decided to end his cooperation with Passion UA. For three years, Zinchenko was with Passion UA, supporting the organization's development as a media partner, helping to build the club's brand, opening new opportunities, and believing in the team from day one. We are sincerely grateful for the trust, support, contribution to the project's development, and all the moments we shared together, thank you for everything, Zinchenko. Passion UA continues its journey
The team's CEO Artemijs Rjabovs stated that Zinchenko's support helped lay the foundation for the club's development, and his involvement in the project was an important part of their shared history.
Passion UA continues to move forward with respect for everything we have created together and with full focus on what lies ahead
Addendum
Zinchenko founded Passion UA in August 2023. In December of the same year, the footballer himself debuted as part of the team at the United21 Season 9 tournament in CS2. In 2024, Passion UA became the winner of the European Pro League Season 16 and received $11,000 in prize money.
In the qualifiers for PGL Wallachia Season 2 in 2025, the team became the "Breakthrough Team" of the qualifications: young and little-known players managed to go from the open qualifiers to the final of the closed qualifiers, knocking formidable opponents out of the tournament, including Natus Vincere, whom they defeated twice with a score of 2-1.
It should be noted that this year it became known that Zinchenko lost priority rights to manage Passion UA back in May of last year, transferring them to the organization's CEO Artemijs Rjabovs.
