The company recalled that since 2022, it has been providing technological support, cybersecurity support, and other assistance to help Ukraine maintain critical digital services during the war, resulting in Microsoft's total support exceeding $700 million.
The company also said that from the first days of the war, technology has helped Ukraine maintain state and public services, ensuring a rapid transition to cloud systems.
By moving critical services to cloud infrastructure across Europe, Ukraine has ensured the availability of key government services, from social benefits and tax collection to maintaining business registries and land registries, demonstrating how modern digital infrastructure can avoid disruptions and strengthen national resilience
Through this program, Microsoft continues to support Ukraine in several key areas, including:
providing free technologies and cloud services that allow government agencies, schools, and state institutions to continue operations and accelerate the delivery of digital services; strengthening the country's critical cybersecurity against ongoing threats; supporting non-profit and international organizations that help Ukraine and document war crimes against civilians using technology and data processing capabilities.
