In Obukhiv district of Kyiv region, a 15-year-old boy detonated a grenade during a conflict between friends in the entrance of a residential building and fled, UNN reports, citing the Kyiv police.

On December 29, around 11 p.m., an explosion was reported in one of the apartment buildings in Obukhiv.
Law enforcement officers found that the 15-year-old boy had taken an explosive device from his pocket and thrown it during a conflict between friends in the entrance of a residential building. After that, he fled.
Law enforcement established the young man's whereabouts and detained him. It is noted that as a result of the explosion, the bomber and a 16-year-old participant in the conflict were injured, and the entrance of the house was damaged.
Investigators have launched a pre-trial investigation into hooliganism with the use of an object specially adapted or prepared in advance for inflicting bodily harm (Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code).
The issue of choosing a measure of restraint is currently being decided.
