In Nairobi, hundreds of people are protesting against femicide and child abductions. Since the beginning of the year, 69 women have been killed, and over 10,000 children have gone missing.

Marchers chanted slogans and carried placards calling for an end to femicide and the killing of children. Protesters also blocked one of the city's central streets, setting up a stand displaying the names of the deceased women.
According to researchers from Odipo Dev and Africa Uncensored, at least 69 women have been killed in Kenya since the beginning of the year. Meanwhile, the country's government reports more than 10,500 missing children over the past 16 months, of whom nearly two thousand were abducted.
