In addition, the G7 emphasized that the DPRK continues developments in the nuclear sphere, which contradicts UN resolutions.

The G7 also condemned North Korea's supply of weapons to Russia, which it plans to use in the war against Ukraine.

We call on North Korea and Russia to abide by these UN Security Council resolutions and immediately cease all such activities

the statement said.

The G7 called on the world to provide a "swift, united and decisive" response.
