The MK Foundation has donated 50 Volkswagen Transporter vans to the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The vehicles will be distributed among the 3rd Separate Mechanized Brigade, the GUR, Kraken and the Konovalets Military School.

On November 8, the charitable foundation of Ukrainian investor Maxim Krippa , MK Foundation, once again replenished the fleet of the Defense Forces. 50 Volkswagen Transporter vans will serve the needs of the soldiers of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade, the Main Intelligence Directorate, the Kraken special forces and the Yevhen Konovalets Military School, UNN reports.

The vehicles have been repaired and are ready to go to the combat zone. 20 vans will be deployed in the Izyum sector as part of the 3rd Brigade's technical fleet. According to soldier "Johnny", the Russians keep trying to advance deeper into Ukrainian territory in Kharkiv region. Due to constant shelling with artillery and attack UAVs, they are losing transport, among other things.

"There are always not enough cars. Today, they are consumables, and replenishment of the fleet with wheeled vehicles is usually done by volunteers. Therefore, these 20 buses will solve many issues for us," says Johnny.

The defenders of Kharkiv region received 10 vehicles each from the Kraken special unit of the GUR and the Yevhen Konovalets military school.

"These vehicles will be used to transport combat equipment, people, and evacuate wounded soldiers from the battlefield. We often use such vehicles to evacuate people from the frontline areas. These buses are economical, low-maintenance, reliable and extremely versatile, as they can be converted to any task," comments ‘Grom’, a serviceman from one of the DIU's units.

"The vehicles will be used both in the training process of new recruits and in trips to the combat zone. Our instructors have come a long way as part of the 3rd Brigade and Azov. However, there is nothing better than knowledge that can be passed on based on their own experience, so they continue to go to the front, acquire new skills and then teach them to the cadets," said Olena, head of the military equipment service of the Colonel Konovalets Military School, call sign ‘Dama’.

"The destiny of these vehicles is to serve and help our military fight the Russian invasion. We are sincerely grateful and bow low to each of our military for their invaluable contribution to the fight for Ukraine. For its part, MK Foundation is doing everything to be a reliable rear guard for them and provide exactly the help they need here and now," said Oleksandr Osoka, director of the charity.

To date, the MK Foundation has helped to purchase more than 1,800 cars, 30 medical vehicles, 5 fire trucks, as well as motor boats, generators, charging stations and special equipment. The total amount of assistance has reached UAH 869.8 million.
