Bad weather caused power outages in 158 settlements in five regions of Ukraine, emergency crews are working to restore power supply

Bad weather has left about 160 settlements in five regions without power supply, Ukraine's State Emergency Service said on Friday, UNN reports.

According to Ukrenergo, 158 settlements in 5 regions (Lviv - 87, Volyn - 31, Ivano-Frankivsk - 26, Sumy - 7 and Chernihiv - 7) were cut off from electricity due to deteriorating weather conditions (wind gusts, wet snow), the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported.

Regional power company crews are involved in restoring power supply.
