The head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, spoke about the consequences of the night attack by Russian Federation in Odesa region, UNN reports.

He clarified that a large number of UAVs were launched from the sea last night.

"There were hits to the port infrastructure and private houses. Also, a high-rise building. There were both shrapnel and direct hits. One teenager of 15 years old died as a result of the enemy attack. We also have 9 wounded, some of whom are still in hospital," said the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.

Kiper added that utility workers are still clearing the rubble at several addresses.

"They are removing garbage and installing glass to provide people with living conditions in their homes," he informs.

The head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration noted that Russia will not succeed in destroying Odesa region as a logistics hub.

"Our port infrastructure has started working thanks to the efforts of the military and the President. We realize that our grain initiative enables the whole world to survive. Odesa region is a logistics hub, and we realize that more than 70 countries need our grain. This, of course, does not suit some people. But thanks to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, we are resisting the enemy," Kiper emphasized.
