A Boeing 737-800 plane has safely landed in Medford, Oregon, after an outer panel broke off during a flight from San Francisco.
A Boeing 737-800 aircraft landing at Medford Airport in Oregon, USA, was missing one of its exterior panels. The United flight from San Francisco landed safely. The problem became known during the post-flight inspection, the Associated Press writes, UNN reports.

It is noted that the airport suspended operations to check the runway for debris, but none was found. The missing part was found on the lower part of the aircraft where the wing joins the body near the landing gear.
Boeing refused to comment on the information. The company has just posted a link to information about the plane with which the incident occurred. In particular, it says that it is more than 25 years old.
