112 telephone service launched in five more regions of Ukraine

Ukraine's Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko has announced the launch of the 112 emergency center in five regions, allowing people to call all emergency services using one number, and plans to expand it further in 2024.
A communication center of the 112 service has been launched in five regions of Ukraine, allowing to call any emergency service by a single number. This was stated by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko, reports UNN.

In these minutes, the 112 communication center is starting to work in Lviv region... The Service operators working in Lviv speak English, Polish, Czech and Turkish.
It is noted that from now on, all emergency services in Lviv region can be called by a single number - 112. This allows to significantly speed up the process of connecting with the emergency service and enhances communication between units.

In addition, as of today , emergency services can be called by a single number 112 in Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Cherkasy, and Chernihiv regions.

Klymenko added that 112 communication centers are planned to be launched in Dnipro and Odesa in 2024. It will be possible to call rescuers, police, doctors, or gas service workers from any region of Ukraine using a single number.
As a reminder, on July 21, 2021, the government at a meeting ensured the functioning of an interagency group that will manage and monitor the implementation of the 112 emergency system. In particular, the Ministry of Internal Affairs was designated responsible for the implementation of the system.
