Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that he met with Czech President Petr Pavel, and the leaders honored the memory of fallen soldiers in Moshchun, the battles for which played an important role in the defense of Kyiv, writes UNN.
Today we started the day with Czech President Petr Pavel and our meeting in Moshchun in the Kyiv region, and this is a symbolic place, very memorable for all of us in Ukraine
The President emphasized that the battles for Moshchun against the Russian occupiers were very important for the protection of Kyiv, and therefore - the entire our state.
"Today, together we honored the memory of our fallen soldiers who fought for the freedom of Ukraine, and thanked all the heroes, thanks to whom we are in Ukrainian Kyiv, in our independent state. And it will always be so - we will definitely preserve the independence of Ukraine", - said the Head of State.
