Commenting on the "shahed" attack on the house where the Estonian Ambassador to Ukraine Anneli Kolk lives, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed the need to strengthen accountability for Russia's sanctions circumvention schemes. Zelensky said this in an evening address, UNN reports.
Today, he met with the Estonian Minister of Defense. Recently, a Russian "shahed" strike on Kyiv damaged the building housing the residence of the Estonian Ambassador to Ukraine. This is one of the many proofs that we need to significantly strengthen not only our defense against Russian terror, but also pressure on Russia to limit its military production. Every Shahed, every missile used by Russia is basically a component that is supplied in circumvention of sanctions. And in the next sanctions package of the European Union, it is important to hit, in particular, the schemes of circumventing sanctions. Anyone who continues such trade with Russia must clearly understand the consequences. Peace through strength is, in particular, through the strength of sanctions
