President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting on the security situation in the Dnipro region, during which the protection of infrastructure, strengthening of electronic warfare (EW), and road repairs in the region were discussed. He noted that there were reports from the military regarding the situation in the areas of Stepnohirsk, Orikhiv, and Huliaipole. They also discussed counter-sabotage and anti-terrorist work, countering the recruitment of Ukrainians, and the security situation in the region in general. Special attention was paid to the Donetsk region and the situation in the Black Sea.
The Office of the President reported that the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha, reported on measures to strengthen the protection of the region's critical infrastructure from Russian shelling, the elimination of the consequences of enemy strikes, and the strengthening of EW equipment operations and their deployment across the region.
He also informed that road repairs and their equipment with anti-drone corridors are ongoing in the Dnipro region in accordance with the requests of the military command.
The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration also provided information on the evacuation of people from designated settlements and on strengthening the protection of infrastructure facilities in accordance with the region's Resilience Plan.
Commander of the Air Command "East" Serhiy Ryabko reported on the air defense capabilities of the Dnipro region.
Commander of the "East" grouping of troops Viktor Nikolyuk reported on the operational situation in the defense zone.
Commander of the "South" grouping of troops Mykhailo Sydorenko reported on the situation in the area of Stepnohirsk, Orikhiv, and Huliaipole. He separately informed about the situation in the Black Sea, Russia's attempts to attack vessels, as well as Ukraine's actions to protect civilian shipping.
Acting Head of the Main Directorate of the SBU Dmytro Nieviiedrov and Acting Head of the Main Directorate of the National Police Oleksandr Myhorodskyi reported on counter-sabotage and anti-terrorist activities, countering the recruitment of Ukrainians, and the crime situation in the region.
