Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the agreement on silence at sea was to extend to both port infrastructure and the cities where it is located, including Odesa and Mykolaiv. Zelenskyy stated this during a briefing, reports UNN.

The agreement was to extend to port infrastructure... and the cities where there are relevant ports, relevant infrastructure. Odesa, Odesa region, because we also have the "Pivdenny" port there, as well as the important infrastructure of Mykolaiv, which simply does not work. You know why, because it is constantly under fire. Everyone was counting on this, because there was an agreement specifically on the Black Sea, but, again, without monitoring there is nothing to say

- said Zelenskyy.

He emphasized that the negotiations between the US and Russia involved Saudi Arabia as a third country that could conduct such monitoring.

For example, one of the countries that can monitor security in the Black Sea could be Turkey - the logic is clear to me. This is what they discussed. The US, the French, the British can monitor. Other Black Sea countries as well. Both Romanians and Bulgarians, because they know this region, were involved in assistance and the demining coalition

- added Zelenskyy.

Reminder

Earlier, Zelenskyy stated that after the US publishes statements on the outcome of negotiations in Saudi Arabia, silence at sea and a ceasefire on energy facilities should begin.
