Ukrzaliznytsia is launching women's carriages on three more trains from May 1 due to high demand for this service. As reported by the company, the average occupancy of such compartments exceeds 92%, UNN reports.
New women's carriages will appear on trains No. 7 Kharkiv – Odesa, No. 12 Lviv – Odesa, and No. 92 Lviv – Kyiv. Ticket sales for these routes have already opened.
Ukrzaliznytsia noted that women's carriages remain among the leaders in popularity. On some routes, the occupancy rate reaches 171%.
The company reminded that such carriages have number 5 in the train composition and special marking in the application.
From May 1, women's compartments will operate on 18 routes, including Kharkiv – Vorokhta, Zaporizhzhia – Uzhhorod, Kyiv – Uzhhorod, Kyiv – Rakhiv, Odesa – Yasinya, Dnipro – Truskavets, Cherkasy – Ivano-Frankivsk, and others.
Ukrzaliznytsia also emphasized that women's carriages are regular compartment carriages, and the ticket price for them does not differ from the standard price for this class.
