During a briefing in Brussels following a meeting of NATO Chiefs of Defense, Dragone emphasized the need for a "fairer burden-sharing" within the Alliance.
According to him, NATO's military leadership expects that at the Alliance summit in Ankara in July, political leaders will turn promises into "tangible results" and accelerate the delivery of necessary capabilities.
"The pace of delivery and deployment of all capabilities required for our deterrence and defense needs a dramatic increase and improvement,"
The Admiral also noted that the current security situation in Europe remains extremely tense.
"We are not at war, but we are not at peace either,"
