Ukraine's U-19 youth football team confidently defeated Switzerland's U-19 team, winning qualification for Euro 2024. The final match of the 3rd qualifying round in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia, ended with a 3-0 victory for the Ukrainian players. The goals were scored by Metalist Kharkiv midfielder Gennadiy Synchuk, who put the Ukrainians ahead, and Dynamo Kyiv forward Matviy Ponomarenko, who scored a double.

Earlier, Dmytro Mykhaylenko's wards defeated Northern Macedonia (2:0) and Latvia (3:0).
The U-19 European Youth Football Championship will take place on July 15-28 in Northern Ireland. It is currently known that the upcoming tournament has already been booked: Spain, Italy, Turkey, Ukraine and Northern Ireland.
The draw for the final tournament will take place on April 17 in Belfast.
