Defense Minister Umerov announced the strengthening of long-range weapons production in Ukraine from 2025. Estonia will continue to support Ukraine, allocating 0.25% of its GDP annually for military assistance.

Ukraine is actively developing domestic weapons production, and by 2025 these efforts will be significantly strengthened, particularly in the field of creating long-range capabilities. This was reported by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Rustem Umerov, on Facebook, writes UNN.

I had the great honor of meeting with the Prime Minister of Estonia, Krisjanis Karins. Estonia is one of Ukraine's closest friends and has already provided significant military, economic and diplomatic support to our country. Krisjanis Karins emphasized that his country will continue to allocate 0.25% of its own GDP annually to assist Ukraine

- wrote Umerov.

Umerov also emphasized the importance of training and equipping one of the Ukrainian brigades with the support of Estonian allies.

"I also told the Prime Minister of Estonia about the priorities of the Ukrainian defense sector. We are actively developing domestic weapons production, and by 2025 these efforts will be significantly strengthened, particularly in the field of creating long-range capabilities," Umerov said.

Umerov also noted that together with his colleagues, they informed the Estonian delegation about the current situation on the battlefield, and also discussed the prospects for further strengthening cooperation in the field of cybersecurity.

"Estonia has unique experience in this field, and we believe that we can together strengthen the defense capabilities of Ukraine," Umerov wrote.
