Ukraine receives €2 million worth of network equipment from Luxembourg and Denmark to strengthen cybersecurity

Luxembourg and Denmark have provided the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine with network equipment and licenses worth more than €2 million to improve network security and facilitate the implementation of information systems.

Thanks to the contributions of Luxembourg and Denmark, it has handed over network equipment and ancillary licenses worth more than 2 million euros to Ukraine. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, UNN reports.

The assistance came as part of the IT coalition. The new equipment will help improve network security and facilitate the implementation of a number of information systems.

"The cyber defense specialists of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine protect information and communication systems and networks from cyber attacks. The new batch of equipment will improve the protection of our networks and facilitate the implementation of a number of information systems - this is one of our priorities. We continue to work for technological superiority over the enemy," the statement said.

Laptops, monitors and other communication equipment worth 900 thousand euros were transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In total, the IT Coalition has already provided more than €5 million in aid to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Defense Forces to build IT infrastructure, including contributions from the United Kingdom, Denmark, Lithuania, Latvia, Luxembourg and bilateral assistance from Canada.
