The Cabinet of Ministers instructed the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications together with the Ministry of Finance to develop a mechanism for state support of the book publishing industry, which is suffering significant losses due to Russian shelling. According to him, during the Russian attack on July 19, one of the printing houses lost production facilities and over 400 thousand school textbooks.
At the same time, other enterprises in the industry also suffered damage.
The Prime Minister emphasized that the government intends to support Ukrainian book publishers, despite the state's limited financial capabilities.
Even under conditions of limited budget resources, the state will find an opportunity to support the Ukrainian book. This will help enterprises restore operations, replenish public library funds, and preserve the capacity of Ukrainian book publishing
