20 thousand unmanned aerial vehicles for the Defense Forces were purchased by the state through the Prozorro Market electronic catalog. Their total cost is over UAH 1.7 billion. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy on July 23, UNN reports.

The state has purchased such UAVs as DJI Mavic, DJI Matrice, DJI Phantom, AUTEL EVO II, FPV, etc.
Their total cost is reportedly over UAH 1.7 billion. Drones are purchased by both military units and communities that donate UAVs to the army. In total, according to the Ministry of Economy, more than 250 customers regularly purchase drones through Prozorro Market.
The agency noted that Prozorro Market operates as an online store for procurement for budgetary funds. The main part of it is administered by the state institution Professional Procurement.
The number of drone purchases in Prozorro Market is constantly growing. In particular, in May of this year, the number of drones purchased amounted to 10 thousand. Over the past two and a half months, their number has doubled
In early July, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution allowing the purchase of drones made in Ukraine through the closed Prozorro functionality. Previously, only foreign-made drones could be purchased through Prozorro.
