Ukraine has handed over the "list of 1000" to the Russian side for a future exchange of prisoners of war. It was compiled based on the principle of the duration of the Ukrainian servicemen's captivity since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion. This was reported by the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, according to UNN.
Details
The headquarters noted that the transfer of the list took place following negotiations mediated by the United States, which were held the day before.
According to the agency, the principle of forming lists based on the length of time in captivity has been repeatedly agreed upon by authorized representatives of Ukraine and Russia.
