President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated Ukraine's acute need for additional air defense systems and artillery ammunition. He said this during the opening of the Contact Group meeting in the "Ramstein" format, UNN reports.
The Head of State noted that he discussed this issue with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
"Yesterday I raised two urgent issues with Mark. The first is the number of air defense systems. The second is artillery shells. Currently, there is not enough of either. Both are urgently needed,"
According to him, current production volumes and funding are insufficient to cover Ukraine's needs.
"The funds currently allocated for this are not enough. The volumes produced by Europe are not enough. What the Ukrainian army receives is not enough. But we can increase all of this; the capabilities exist,"
