Russia must not be allowed to profit from the actions of its ally Iran. We call on the US administration to reinstate sanctions against Russian oil and petroleum products. It is in our common interest to limit the funding that Russia uses to attack Ukraine and support US adversaries.
She noted that new problems in the world will not be long in coming if Russia sees that destabilization and inciting war bring benefits.
"It is noteworthy that the Russian representative has already called the oil exemption 'cooperation'," Markarova noted.
