In his opinion, the behavior of the Russian military in Ukraine has signs of genocide, and Ukraine has every right to stop Russia's aggressive intentions.
"Ukraine's actions are defensive. What Russian troops and Russian aviation are doing to the territory of Ukraine bears the hallmarks of genocide and inhuman crimes. And Ukraine has every right to wage war in such a way as to paralyze Russia in its aggressive intentions as effectively as possible," the head of the Polish government said at a press briefing on August 13.
In addition, journalists asked Tusk whether NATO member states are concerned about the fact that weapons sent to Ukraine for defense are being used for the operation in the Kursk region. According to him, he "would be very careful with such wording".
The Polish prime minister assured that Warsaw maintains constant contact with Kyiv at the highest political level. He added that he was not surprised by such a non-standard and unexpected change in the situation at the front.
