Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Svitlana Hrynchuk met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Ukraine Mustafa Levent Bilgen.
She told Mr. Ambassador about the difficult situation in Ukraine's energy system as a result of massive targeted Russian attacks on energy infrastructure.
Given the crisis in the energy sector, when Russia is constantly attacking and systematically destroying the energy infrastructure, it is important to repair and restore energy facilities where possible, as well as to increase the energy independence of Ukrainians through the development of distributed generation. And we welcome the participation of Turkish companies in this important process,
The parties discussed areas of bilateral cooperation in restoring the Ukrainian energy sector, supplying the necessary equipment, and attracting technical and expert support from Turkish specialists.
Svitlana Hrynchuk also emphasized the importance of implementing the provisions of the Peace Formula proposed by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

At a meeting of the EU Council, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba presented 5 areas of assistance to Ukraine's energy system. He also welcomed the decision to use the profits from Russian assets and thanked for the new package of sanctions.
