President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that the US would "bomb and destroy one bridge or power plant" every time Iran attacks a vessel passing through the Strait of Hormuz, reports UNN citing CNN.
"From now on, every time the Islamic Republic of Iran fires at a ship in the Strait of Hormuz, whether with a missile, drone, or any other device or weapon, the United States will bomb and destroy one bridge or power plant, including those located near or in the capital Tehran," Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Trump previously threatened to attack Iranian civilian infrastructure, which could be considered a war crime, including in an interview with Fox News last week, when he said the US would "destroy all (Iranian) bridges if they do not sit down at the negotiating table and start talks."
