No one has been able to completely stop Russian access to foreign components. Russia continues to receive components not only from the East, as everyone thinks, but also from the West. The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Kirill Budanov, said this during a telethon, UNN reports.

According to Budanov, the state program "parallel imports" works quite effectively in Russia, which allows Russia to purchase components from many countries, not only, as everyone thinks, from the East, but also from the West.
"Parallel imports" are legalized smuggling. Yes, components come from many countries, not only, as everyone thinks, from the East, but a lot of them come from the West. Unfortunately, no one has been able to completely stop Russians' access to foreign components," Budanov said.
Budanov commented on Putin's upcoming trip to the DPRK, noting that the Russian dictator plans to discuss increasing arms supplies to Moscow, and that Russia will offer the DPRK missile technology in return.
The head of the GUR also said that Korea's arms supplies to Russia began in 2013.
"Weapons and ammunition from the DPRK started back in 2023. I don't think we will be able to see anything new," Budanov added.
He emphasized that the weapons supplied by the DPRK are not modern, but the volumes they can produce are quite serious.
"This is a weapon of the previous century, in fact, but the projectile will come. It may arrive with a slight deviation, but it will arrive. Those who say that it is bad, that they give us something that has been in the warehouse for 20-30 years, unfortunately, have no influence. We must also recognize this," emphasizes the head of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.

Oleksandr Ruvin, the director of the Kyiv Research Institute, announced today that thanks to the cooperation of KNDISE and foreign media, three people were arrested in the Netherlands, who, bypassing sanctions, supplied Russia with goods for military needs.
"We are sincerely grateful to the international investigators whose professional activities help to block Russian routes of illegal supply of foreign microelectronics to equip enemy missiles and drones. Among the latter, we have a successful case of cooperation with journalists from the Netherlands. Their investigation led to the arrest of three people as part of a multinational investigation into an international smuggling network that was working to circumvent European sanctions against Russia. Such small local steps help to increase the effectiveness of sanctions pressure on the aggressor country," noted Ruvin.
