The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided to allocate 800 million hryvnias for the implementation of the first stage of the government program SvіtloDIM. This was reported by the Ministry of Development, writes UNN.
The program will help co-owners of apartment buildings ensure the operation of key systems in the building during power outages: light, water, heat, communication, and elevators.
The amount of assistance is from 100 to 300 thousand UAH.
The amount depends on the number of floors in the building, the number of entrances, and the presence of its own boiler room.
Funds can be used to purchase:
- generators;
- batteries and battery systems;
- inverters;
- solar panels.
Our energy system is constantly under enemy attacks, and recovery sometimes takes a long time due to the scale of the damage. Therefore, it is critically important to help people make their homes more autonomous and less dependent on emergency shutdowns. The amounts of assistance within the SvіtloDIM program are calculated to cover the basic needs of an apartment building — the operation of heating points, pumps, water and heat supply, elevators, lighting, and communication. We expect that about 3.6 thousand buildings will be provided with autonomous energy sources.
Who can apply
HOAs, managers of any form of ownership, and service cooperatives.
Applications will be submitted online through the electronic cabinet on the Diia portal. The ability to submit applications will be available soon.
Decisions will be made in a short time and published openly. After approval, funds will be transferred to recipients within 48 hours through Oschadbank or another participating bank.
In the first stage, "SvіtloDIM" operates in Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast — regions where an emergency situation in the energy sector has been recorded due to constant attacks. Assistance is provided on a non-repayable basis from the reserve fund of the state budget.
