Ukrainian Air Force spokesperson Yurii Ihnat urged Ukrainian media not to use headlines about "missiles not intercepted," as this plays into the enemy's hands. He emphasized that presenting information in this way fuels pessimism among the population.

Ukrainian Air Force spokesperson Yurii Ihnat called on the media not to fuel pessimistic sentiments among Ukrainians with sensational headlines about "missiles not shot down," as this plays into the enemy's hands. Ihnat said this on the air of the national telethon, UNN reports.

I would very much like to appeal to the Ukrainian media and Telegram channels. I do not do this often, but once again. Our monitoring groups looked at how much information there was specifically about ballistic missiles during the latest attacks, in particular on Odesa region. You type "Air Force" into Google, and (we see — Ed.) "not a single missile shot down." In fact, there are thousands and thousands of links. If you think that anyone will feel better if we fuel things with headlines like these. You can see that there are never more than two sentences in messages on Telegram channels. In this way, the enemy simply takes and quotes us. It no longer needs to do anything. They take Ukrainian media outlets and Ukrainian Telegram channels and simply reprint them

- Ihnat said.

He added that the presentation of information is very important for Ukraine's domestic audience and for how people in Ukraine perceive events.

We are doing all the work for Skabeyeva, Solovyov, and so on. So I would ask once again: no one will feel better because we write about this. We should not play into the Russians' hands

- Ihnat added.

He stressed that Ukraine is expecting supplies from its partners and that extensive work is under way to secure missiles to shoot down Russian aerial targets.

We remind you

Russia launched a missile and 129 drones at Ukraine overnight, including three "Banderols"; 95 unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down or suppressed, including all the "Banderols," while the enemy missile did not reach its target.
