According to a confidential report by German security authorities, numerous drones were spotted over the airbase in the evening hours of December 3 and 4.
Despite intensive efforts, the drone's operator could not be found, the newspaper notes.
According to the publication, the drones were also spotted over the facilities of defense company Rheinmetall and chemical giant BASF, but their origin could not be determined.
