The State Property Fund of Ukraine has filed a motion with the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) to lift the seizures on the "Medvedchuk pipeline" in order to return the asset to state control. This was reported by the SPFU press service, according to UNN.
The State Property Fund of Ukraine has initiated the lifting of seizures from the Ukrainian section of the "Samara - Western Direction" main oil product pipeline—an asset that for years was associated with the inner circle of Viktor Medvedchuk,
This refers to a strategic facility consisting of:
- over 1,400 km of oil product pipeline;
- pumping stations;
- reservoirs;
- production complexes and technological infrastructure.
Ukrainian courts, including the Supreme Court, have already confirmed the state's ownership of this property. Now, the State Property Fund has petitioned the HACC to lift the seizures imposed in 2021 and 2023, as the need for further restrictions has vanished following the asset's return to the state. After the lifting of said seizures, the Fund plans to transfer the asset to the management of JSC "Ukrtransnafta" for full-scale operation in the interests of the state,
As a reminder,
The Supreme Court has finally recognized the state's right of ownership to the Ukrainian section of the "Samara - Western Direction" main oil product pipeline. The Ukrainian section of the pipeline was controlled for some time by former MP from the "OPZZH" party, Viktor Medvedchuk.
