Due to severe weather conditions in Ukraine, three people have died and seven others were injured, while hundreds of settlements in 19 regions remain without electricity, according to data from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine as of Monday morning, UNN reports.
In total, across the country, 3 people died and 7 people were injured as a result of the worsening weather conditions
State Emergency Service units were deployed 405 times to saw fallen trees and conduct restoration work across 21 regions. A total of 1,810 personnel and 423 pieces of equipment were involved.
As a result of the worsening weather conditions caused by strong wind gusts, 1,218 settlements in 19 regions are without power supply (Dnipropetrovsk - 259, Poltava - 238, Khmelnytskyi - 180, Odesa - 95, Kyiv - 86, Sumy - 64, Mykolaiv - 61, Vinnytsia - 43, Kirovohrad - 33, Kherson - 31, Zhytomyr - 27, Kharkiv - 23, Cherkasy - 18, Donetsk - 10, Ternopil - 14, Chernivtsi - 7, Rivne - 11, Volyn - 17, and Ivano-Frankivsk - 1)
