A bill to provide $61 billion in aid to Ukraine has passed a procedural vote in the US Senate, UNN reports.

80 senators supported Senate Democratic Majority Leader Chuck Schumer's motion to end debate. This will allow the package of aid to Ukraine to be approved under a shortened procedure.
