Russian troops struck passenger trains in Odesa region twice in one day; a child was injured in the second Russian attack, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported on Thursday, according to UNN.

As stated, a locomotive and dry grass caught fire. Firefighters extinguished the blaze.
"Rescuers, together with coordinating services, evacuated 525 people, including 130 children. Seventeen buses from the State Emergency Service and the city authorities were brought in to transport the passengers onward," the statement said.
The emergency workers, as noted, continue working at the site together with all services and assisting people.
Oleh Kiper, Head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, confirmed the evacuation.
"As of 4 p.m., another 525 passengers, including 130 children, had been evacuated from the scene. Another 15 buses were deployed to transport people to safe places. Unfortunately, one child was injured. Assistance was provided at the scene. Evacuation measures are ongoing. The relevant services continue working at the sites and ensuring people's safety," Kiper wrote on social media.
