The number of wounded as a result of the Russian strike on "Nova Poshta" in Vinnytsia region has increased - 9 victims are known, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported on Friday, writes UNN.

Earlier, the head of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration, Natalia Zabolotna, indicated that "the number of victims as a result of the strike on Nova Poshta in Vinnytsia region has increased to 8. Three are in intensive care, one of them in serious condition. Another five people sustained minor injuries."

The company itself reported that "over the past day, as a result of a series of enemy strikes, a Nova Poshta branch in Vinnytsia region was destroyed, as well as a sorting terminal in the Dnipropetrovsk region." "The enemy resorted to another attack on civilian infrastructure. Thus, due to a fire in neighboring warehouse premises, the Nova Poshta branch in the city of Haisyn was destroyed. Two employees were injured. Their lives are not in danger. Also, a sorting terminal in the Dnipropetrovsk region was destroyed. However, the employees were in shelters and were not injured. The elimination of the consequences is ongoing," Nova Poshta stated.
Detailed information regarding the damaged cargo, as noted, will be established in the near future. "We will compensate clients for the declared value of shipments that were destroyed as a result of the attack. Nova Poshta has already activated backup logistics routes to minimize possible delivery delays," the statement reads.
