The German newspaper Bild notes that Foreign Minister Annanela Burbock confirmed the incident on the sidelines of a NATO meeting in Brussels. However, she did not specify when exactly the incident occurred or which ship was involved.
According to her, Germany will strengthen control over pipelines and data cables in the Baltic Sea. The protection of critical infrastructure will also be strengthened with the help of patrols.
