A strike was carried out on the Russian missile corvette "Boiky" at the Kronstadt base, reported the Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the AFU, Robert "Madyar" Brovdi, sharing a video, UNN reports.
Details
"Kronstadt (Saint Petersburg), June 03. Birds of the 1st OTC of the USF hunted down and set fire to the corvette 'Boiky', a carrier of guided missile weapons," "Madyar" wrote. "06:35 03.06.26. Veleshchinsky Dry Dock, Kronstadt (Saint Petersburg), the cradle of the Russian Navy."
According to him, the corvette "Boiky" — Project 20380, the third corvette of the Baltic Fleet of the Russian Navy — went in for scheduled repairs in February 2026. It was launched in 2011 and has been in service since 2013.
"It has an epic history of travels and adventures along NATO borders, escorted the 'worms' shadow oil fleet, a real workhorse. It was remembered for the triumphant ramming of the research vessel 'Admiral Vladimirsky'," "Madyar" said of the corvette.
The General Staff also confirmed that "on the night of June 3, 2026, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in Kronstadt (one of the bases of the Russian Navy's Baltic Fleet) struck a Project 20380 'Steregushchiy-class' corvette." This refers specifically to the ship "Boiky." According to the General Staff, a large-scale fire has been confirmed on board the vessel. The results and extent of the damage are being clarified.
Project 20380 corvettes, as noted, are multi-purpose littoral combat ships designed to combat surface ships, submarines, and air targets, as well as to strike coastal targets. Ukrainian defenders emphasize that the strike on the corvette "Boiky" reduces the enemy's capabilities in the maritime component and limits the capabilities of the Russian fleet.
Reminder
Earlier, the General Staff of the AFU confirmed a strike on the "Saint Petersburg" oil terminal and ships in the port of Kronstadt.
The founder and chief designer of Fire Point, Denys Shtylerman, reported that the strike was carried out using their products, noting that he could not ignore the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum taking place in the city, which Russian dictator Vladimir Putin was expected to attend.
In addition
It is worth noting that the Anti-Corruption Action Center (AntAC) was also among the first to report Fire Point's strikes on Russian targets on its social media, clearly attempting to gain publicity on a "hot topic." At the same time, activists are actively working against the Ukrainian weapons manufacturer, criticizing weapon production and ignoring successful strikes on targets deep inside Russian territory.
"The President spoke about 3,000 missiles, I think back in '25, that were supposed to be manufactured. And for us, this was Fire Point's key order. They received, well, if not a monopoly share, then at least the largest share of funding for these things (...) Do I not want Ukraine to have missiles? Of course I do. And that is the motivation why we are questioning, friends, why this company received what I consider a monopoly share of money for missiles that do not exist," stated the head of AntAC, Vitaliy Shabunin, in an interview.
He even proposed nationalizing Fire Point on the grounds that the company allegedly failed to produce effective weapons.
