According to the State Emergency Service, on the night of November 16, Russians launched missile strikes on the city of Balakliia, Kharkiv Oblast. The missiles hit a densely built-up residential area.
According to preliminary data, 3 people died, and 13 more were injured, including 4 children. As a result of the attack, a private residential building, balconies of apartment buildings, and cars caught fire. Nine- and five-story residential buildings, a kindergarten, and cars were damaged.
At the same time, the Kharkiv Oblast Prosecutor's Office reported that on November 16, UAVs attacked the Kholodnohirskyi district of Kharkiv. The territory of a football field and a warehouse of an enterprise were damaged.
An air strike was also launched on the village of Starovirivka, Kupiansk district. Residential buildings and outbuildings were damaged. A 52-year-old woman suffered an acute stress reaction.
In addition, enemy FPV drones struck the village of Liutivka, Bohodukhiv district. A household was damaged, and a car was destroyed. Two men were injured.
Later, the Office of the Prosecutor General clarified that as a result of enemy UAV strikes on Izium, an energy facility was damaged. A 14-year-old girl suffered an acute stress reaction.
The Office of the Prosecutor General also reported that three Russian drones attacked the private sector in the village of Velykyi Burluk, Kupiansk district. Fires broke out, and residential buildings and outbuildings were destroyed. A 75-year-old man died, and a 55-year-old resident suffered burns.
