Russian troops hit a high-rise building in Kramatorsk, four people were injured. The victims have been provided with assistance, and an investigation has been launched.

On Tuesday, June 16, Russian troops shelled Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region. They hit a multi-story apartment building, and there are wounded among the local residents. This was reported by UNN with reference to the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office and the head of the Kramatorsk City Military Administration Oleksandr Honcharenko.

Initially, three wounded were reported, but the number later rose to four. Three women aged 67, 72, and 74, as well as a 51-year-old man, sustained physical injuries.

The victims were diagnosed with mine-blast traumas, shrapnel wounds, contusions, and fractures. They have been provided with the necessary medical assistance

Law enforcement officers have initiated a pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings regarding a war crime (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment from 8 to 15 years, or life imprisonment.
